Re: Gas for generator

@Annie : You can usually tell if the gasoline has gone bad by the smell and color. Sometimes it can last okay in a can if the can is mostly full and sealed tightly. Also, it should be clear, not an amber color (varnish). If it checks the smell test and color test, you could add it to your car's tank, but I would do it a gallon at a time (to mix with fuel in your tank)....

@Zokomo : Something that helps some people is exercise. My mom was able to lower her total cholesterol and LDL by walking each day, along with a good diet. She no longer needs any statins....

@Kaylagirl : If I loved my work / workplace, I would still be working, but would still retire by my early 60's. Males in my family do not have the long-life genes. I tolerated my job for most of my career, but never loved and most of the time did not like it. But it paid well, and allowed me to retire last year, so it was good....

@Weathergirl5 : Totally agree - I also think we are in for a long hot summer. Typically, the power generating companies do all their maintenance outside of the June-September period, so they can provide maximum output when it's needed the most. We'll see how that goes this year. With the troubles ERCOT has had herding all the cats, I wouldn't be surprised to see the state move toward greater regulation....
