Kingwood gets it water from deep wells. Lake Houston supplies Houston with its water except for Kingwood. We are scheduled to come off of well water and onto Lake Houston water as soon as the new water plant is completed off of West Lake Houston. Because the Kingwood Wells pump so much water out the land is actually sinking (subsidence). This cracks foundations.
