Both the nurseries on the feeder of 69 are pretty good.
Early spring planting is you are going to plant is usually best.
Some you can container grow, but yield is pretty limited.
Fruit trees like full sun, even a little shade can affect their growth and yield.
Avocado, can't deal with the lower temps, and take something stupid like 15 years to bear fruit.
Plums depending on variety are usually an easy one, and produce fruit earlier tha..."

"You sometimes see jackfruit at the stores now. It's odd looking but I heard it tastes good and has a fruity smell. At least it is not like durian that has the smell of old wet socks.
Jackfruit is pretty good, but a bitch to clean.
But you can make curry and stew from the string stuff, the seeds can be cooked and eaten, and the fruit is really good.
I also really like durian however...."
