Well, I know that Vance said that he wouldn't watch. And several Republican senators stated publicly that not only would they not watch, but it was also a bad idea. So, if I had to make a guess as to who got to him, I'd wager Vance or a GOP senator(s). As for Hegseth, this has indeed blown-up in his face. Because one, from what I read the Pentagon was caught off guard when he said the execution would be aired. And two, I don't know if 47 even knew at the time that Hegseth had made a statement to the press in that regard. So, this appears to be a major misstep on his part.However, in regard to 47 firing him. I don't see it. Because he has someone in that role that will do anything he tells him to do. Be it legal or not. And he also knows that if the Democrats take over the Senate, it will be next to impossible to place another sycophant in that position. For those reasons, I think Hegseth is safe - for now.

Why are we saying the victims families can not view the execution? The cancellation of the public livestream doesn't mean Hasan's execution will happen completely behind closed doors. The victims' immediate families still have the right to view it in person.PS, I'm aware there are some in the thread who can't see this feel free to share the information.

Definitely pulling focus from real issues involving war. What we're doing, or I should say not doing, in the Ukraine is despicable. I can't blame Zelenskyy for calling off their stay on strikes on Russia's oil and energy. Musk and Trump should be ashamed of themselves. I know Musk already saw the writing on the wall and shifted blame to Trump. Trump then blamed the weather.

Russia is having big problems financing its invasion of Ukraine. The diesel deal if approved helps that problem for Putin. Add a Russia to the Russia, Russia, Russia..
