Finally Some Good News
I am Pleased to Announce that I am once again gainfully Employed. After a full year of literally filling out hundreds of applications, automatic rejections, not getting any feedback at all, getting ghosted after rounds of phone interviews, teams meeting interviews, in person interviews, and weird AI chat box video interviews, getting rejected again and again, I finally received an offer and accepted it yesterday. It was a much harder, and grueling process than I thought it would be, and there was a lot of time to reflect on it all. After facing constant rejections you really do lose all self confidence and begin to question your own value and self worth. Admittedly, with a lot of other personal things going on at the same time, it really was all getting to be too much. I'm glad that I have hung in there, kept standing up, and going day by day. I feel like one weight has been lifted, and can breathe a little easier again. Thank you to Everyone that sent words of Encouragement, Believed in me, and said that I could do it along the way, it Sincerely means Everything to me. Best Wishes for Anyone also going through this struggle/ journey right now, I Truly do Hope we All make It. Thank you!

CatalinaD : Husband was fired at 57 after working for a company for 20 years. Had a bonus coming, so by letting him go, they saved a chunk since severance was cheaper than bonus. It took him 3 years to find a job, any job at all. When he did find one, pay is about half what he used to make. I got laid off at same time.
Was a very tough time in our lives.

I am once again gainfully Employed
CatalinaD : I have been through a few times of employment uncertainty. The first time was a week before Christmas and only four months after we purchased our first house.
The second time was on my birthday a month after we had sold that first home and purchased our second home. In both cases, I had been at each company two years and nine months.
I get the anger and frustration and uncertainty as the main breadwinner. Back in the day when this happened to me the AI used was how many newspapers you got so you could scour the open positions.
On a happy note, I am hoping to announce that I am gainfully unemployed sometime in 2027
