Can anyone recommend a vet in the area? Someone who doesn't char

Try Loop 494. I was up there yesterday with a sick rescue but they were pretty booked up. I got there right when they opened and they took me as a walk in but the wait time was between 1-4 hours. I had found the dog loose the night before (little pit/brindle mix) with no collar and the neighbors were trying to help her but could not take her in. I had been there for 3 hours and we had already started some treatment on this dog and the owner finally shows up and refuses treatment. I went to pay for what was done and they just let the charges go.

If u don't mind the drive u can try Affordable Pet Clinic 3004 Little York Rd, Houston, TX 77093 they r wonderful i use them with my animals

Try the Urgent Vet Clinic in the HEB shopping Center on the other side of 59. They are open late afternoon until 11pm. They are reasonable, nit as expensive as the ERs.

I don't get it either. She said they are getting through their appts quickly and we are on a waiting list. Hilde was 11 years young on Sat and we started taking her to this vet when adopted her at 8 months old, so they have been seeing her annually for shots etc since 2016. I will look into the other vets that people have kindly recommended.

the young lady that is a Vet there began working there as a high school student, went on to college to earn her DVM, and came back to work there. Our pups would Run to her and the techs when we arrived. and did not want to leave. Really kind, helpful staff, too.
