I don't mean to sound negative, but I'm doubtful that this would work here. I don't think most people pay attention to the speed limit signs, and in some cases I've seen people ignore stop signs out there. It might catch your eye because it's different, but I'm not sure how effective it would be toward making someone drive that speed.

That sign is just as easy to ignore as any other. People don't even use their signals, stop at a stop sign or know what to do at a 4 way stop lol

Not that many drivers will heed it, but it's a cool new concept!

I think these signs would be very popular.......every Kingwood kid would have one in their room.

If anything they need to raise the speed limit on KW Drive. Way too many inconsiderate people driving 30-35 down Kingwood's major throughfare, which causes more traffic.
The speed limit should be 50 mph at least.

I don't think it would help. I wish the cameras weren't illegal. They were a deterrent.

Bsander : The main issue with crashes is not speed anyway - it's distracted drivers staring at their phones. And it's not just young people. At any stoplight in Kingwood, glance around at your neighbors. Every soccer mom in the line is staring down at her phone. Don't believe me? Check next time you are stopped at a light.

It would do no good. People will go faster and faster than 50 mph. Everyone is in a hurry and it's all about them.
