Parents are rising up against the onslaught of powered scooters AND RIGHTLY SO. They are out of control dangerous. I asked a police officer just today what can be done…..he said mam, we're working on it. It's being addressed. I suggested schools outright banning them would be a great start.

So, ok, let me give you my latest visual…….keep in mind BOTH had the right of way. First pic, she's waiting at the lite at Kings Crossing and KW dr. No helmet, with a passenger in tow, also no helmet, on a scooter built for one. She crosses the busy intersection and almost collides with a 5 ton truck. You can see on her blurred face the look of fixed terror. This could have ended oh so badly.

ironically, the little passenger she had behind her is not shown in either of these shots, but trust me there was a little passenger behind her with arms wrapped around her waist, she was shorter therefore not in this particular pictures site

Sadly, this is what it takes for all of those Minimizing the danger, to Realize it. May this child rest in peace.

The Kings point mom's group is all up in arms about this. There is a huge thread about this very thing on facebook flooding Kingwood with kindness….over 100 responses on that thread addressing this very issue. ALL against this

I was behind a dad and his daughter on a small electric bike in my neighborhood today. It was a kids size bike with an adult and a kid on it and he was driving on the road in the neighborhood like he was a normal vehicle. But when we got to a stop sign, he didn't slow down and went straight through. They act like these things don't have to follow the rules of the road.
Very disappointed at that parent.
