Job Description: Insurance Coordinator


Maintain Google Drive excel file with outstanding policies, which includes collecting the necessary information from agents and meeting with Accounting to ensure file is updated and reconciled timely.
Maintain physical files to ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
Review, sort, and file mail.
Contact clients regarding expired policies.
Track the insurance agents’ earned commissions and referrals in Excel. Collaborate with Accounting to process payouts.
Ensure timely payments are made to insurance carriers, which includes processing payments to each carrier on their respective websites.
Assist with collections, which includes contacting title companies and/or borrowers for payments.
Support annual projects, such as preparing annual 1099 tax forms.
Assist with the design and maintenance of the company’s website and social media.
Work with team to streamline processes as necessary.

High School Diploma
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with Google Drive and Gmail is a plus.
2 + years of professional work experience, preferably at an insurance agency.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and professional.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability and willingness to quickly and efficiently adapt in a rapidly changing, small company environment.
Able to handle conflicting deadlines while meeting requirements and maintaining accuracy.
