Minister Of Discipleship - Kingwood Job

The Minister of Discipleship will cultivate a culture of lifelong, grace centered discipleship, equipping people of all ages to follow Jesus in everyday life, to grow deeper in faith, and to be God’s hands, feet, eyes and ears in the world. This includes intentionally strengthening meaningful relationships within the congregation and cultivating authentic engagement with the surrounding community. This role is development focused rather than program driven, helping the congregation move from participation to practice — from consuming religious content to living faith relationally, communally, and outwardly. As such it is an adaptive role as together, we learn what God is calling us into. Rooted in Lutheran theology, the role supports Holy Comforter’s mission to Go and Make Disciples.
