A meeting hosted by Council Member Fred Flickinger to discuss the City of Houston's Neighborhood Matching Grant Program. Representatives from Kingwood non-profit organizations, HOAs, and Trail Associations are invited to learn about funding opportunities to support neighborhood improvement projects. The City will match up to $5,000 for qualifying projects. Previous funding has supported safety improvements, beautification efforts, and removal of invasive vegetation. This year, applications are encouraged for additional median clearing and planting native trees and bushes. Residents are also invited to attend and learn how they can help improve safety and restore Kingwood’s environment.
