Event Details:
THE GRAND SLAM IS BACK
Four months ago MPH Comedy brought the first ever comedy night to Charlie's Watch Bar. It sold out. They came back in June and packed the room again. July was the fourth anniversary show and sold out again. Now it's August and The Grand Slam is back for month four with the strongest lineup yet.
This is not an open mic. This is not a casual thing. This is a fully booked headliner show produced by MPH Comedy -- the same crew that has been turning Houston bars into real comedy venues for four years running.
THE GRAND SLAM -- AUGUST 22ND
Charlie's Watch Bar
Doors 8:00 | Show 8:30 PM
TT Carson hosts. Comedian, actress, author, and Texas Southern University graduate. Energetic, seasoned, and completely in command of a room from the moment she picks up the mic.
Harrison Loftin performs. 2025 Funniest Person in Houston. That is a competition with real stakes and real competitors -- and Harrison won it. Paid regular at top Houston comedy clubs, performs all over the state, and has opened for nationally touring headliners.
Joshua Jordan performs. Houston stand-up with sharp writing and strong material. 2025 Choke City Podcast Guest of the Year. Gets on stage and gets to work. The jokes are good. The room will know it immediately.
Nathaniel Amador headlines. Houston comedy staple for over a decade. A perfect blend of storytelling and dry observations -- marriage, fatherhood, current events, nothing is off limits. He has performed at the Houston Improv, opened for Matt Rife and Mark Normand, and has a free stand-up special on YouTube called "I Fight Back." Nathaniel Amador is a working comic's working comic and when he closes a show the room feels it.
Four shows. Four packed houses. This one will be no different.
Saturday August 22nd. Doors 8:00. Show 8:30. Charlie's Watch Bar. Tickets from $15.
Don't get caught looking.
