The "Livable Forest" is a slogan created by the
Friendswood Development Company for the Kingwood community. The slogan refers to Kingwood's large number of trees and harmonious coexistence with nature.
This slogan was coined long before the "Green Revolution" so you could say that Kingwood was just ahead of its time.
