Rare Japanese Hand Scroll Replica of Frolicking Animals
Scroll is imprinted with replicas of black ink drawings of Frolicking Animals
Owned by Kozanji, Kyoto, the originals of which are 13th Century national treasures
kept in the Kozanji Monastery in Kyoto, Japan Scroll has pen and ink artwork on
paper and measures over 12 feet long x 4.375 inches tall.
Scroll is wound on a wooden dowel, with brown silk end wrapping and wrap cord to keep it rolled
Featuring images of dozens of frolicking animals acting like people.
The scroll is in excellent condition, with no tears, stains or damage. It comes with original brochure insert printed in Japanese and in English, with original marked box.
