FamilyTime Mission

To provide an outreach program and accessible services to families and individuals in crisis
through counseling, crisis intervention, information, referral and shelter.

FamilyTime Provides:

       - Free counseling and support groups for victims of abuse.

       - A 24-hour crisis helpline.

       - “The Door,” an emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their children.

       - Hospital accompaniment for victims of abuse including domestic violence and sexual assault
          victims by trained advocates.

       - Trained staff to provide legal advocacy about issues stemming from abuse.

       - Professional counseling at affordable rates for non-victim issues.

       - Parenting education and anger management classes.

       - Most services are also available in Spanish.

Counseling Center


Free Individual counseling for victims of crime, including domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Counseling fees for non-victim related issues are charged on a sliding-scale based upon the clientsÂ’ income. Insurance is not accepted for non-victim counseling fees, payment is due at the time of the appointment.

Cost:  There is no fee for the first (intake) session.  All fees are charged on a sliding-scale and are due at the time of service.  Our office does not accept insurance as a form of payment for counseling services.

For those who are seeking counseling services to address issues stemming from a victimization such as domestic violence, sexual assault or other violent crime, you may be eligible for our free counseling program for victims of abuse.  Your counselor will discuss your potential eligibility for this program with you during your first session.  Not all clients will be eligible for this program.

Support Groups
From Victim to Victory: Weekly support group for adult, female victims of abuse.

Monday's from 6pm to 8pm




FamilyTime Thrift Shop:

The proceeds from the sale of good at the thrift shop help support the many free services that FamilyTime offers to victims of abuse. Visit our thrift shop to view our current inventory of to drop off a donation of gently used clothing, household items and other goods.
