"There is simply no better vet in the Kingwood area! Whether you have small animal, an exotic, dog or cat Dr. Hertel and Dr. Mueller will take the best care of it. The staff is super friendly and has very low employee turnover (always a great sign!) and are compassionate toward all animals and owners. The prices are the best around too. I've been to many vets over the years and these guys are the best. Appointments fill fast- so be sure to call early. There is a good reason they are so busy :)"

"When you ask what the cost of an examination for your dog is and you're told the basic exam is $49.50, don't believe it. You will be charged an additional $4.95. What for? you may ask. Biomedical waste.

When questioned about this addition to the bill, I was told that it was just wiping the table after the exam. In our case, since I have a huge German shepherd, I doubt that the dog was even put on a table. Kingwood Animal Hospital, apparently, is desperate for money.

I'm glad I didn't go forward with the $395 of x-rays the vet said I would need, because x-rays of the hips wouldn't be needed of the dog's knee needs a TPLO. (This information I got from the vet specialist who performed a TPLO on another shepherd of mine.)

Again, desperation for money is evident with Kingwood Animal Hospital. I won't be back."

"I've tried several Vets in the area-very particular when in comes to caring for our pets. Dr. McCann really seems to care, and her new laser therapy has really helped our dog Molly. Definitely worth the short drive to Summerwood. Prices are good, too :)"

"We have used this vet for both our dog and cat and have been thrilled. The staff is terrific with our pets. They actually love going to the doctor here!

Not only is the care top notch, but the rates are reasonable as well. They always fit us in quickly and our wait time is minimal. A+++ on all levels!"

"Dr. Rodriguez is sweet and to the point. She stayed past close to give me much needed antibiotics for my dog. She knows I'm not loaded money-wise and helps me find the most cost effective way to help my dog. She's just wonderful."

"This office reminds me of the country vet we used to take our pets to when I was little. It's a small building with few employees, and it has a very "family" feel to it. I think my dogs even felt at ease because they acted like angels the whole time we were there. We didn't wait long to see the vet, and when we did see him he was very considerate and helpful. Going in to pick up prescriptions is always fast, and his staff is always courteous in person and on the phone. I feel good about taking my dogs to this office!"

"We took our pets to another Banfield location in Houston and loved them, but when we moved and transferred our account to the Humble location everything changed. The actual doctor was wonderful but his staff was impossibly slow and inconsiderate. I think their computer system slowed them down quite a bit, and they often seemed understaffed. Without exception every time I went into that office I had to wait in line for at least 15 minutes to check in, and then another 45 to check out. Add to that that time spent waiting in the exam room for the doctor with two rowdy dogs and it was just too much. Even when I called in a prescription the day before I wanted to pick it up, I still had to wait in line for at least 45 minutes to get it. After three years of giving the benefit of the doubt we are no longer taking our pets to that branch."

"Kings Crossing is my regular vet clinic. You can see true care and concern for your pet with the technicians and vets. The office crew aren't rude or anything, but they don't appear to be very happy or friendly. Maybe they are just trying to make sure that they are doing a good job rather than visit or be friendly. I don't really count this against them because it is the vet techs and vets that truly make Kings Crossing a good Animal Hospital."

"I had my dog neutered at All Community. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
My regular vet wanted $280 to neuter my dog so I contacted Twila's Friends and we received a low cost neuter for $40.00. It is a great thing that All Community works with Twila's to help provide low cost spay and neuter."

"Kings Crossing Animal Hospital has been very helpful over the years and offers fair pricing.
While treating a new dog from the pound, they provided shots and medication for mange, along with a followup office visit, for half the price of what my previous vet would have charged.
A year later, after attempting and failing to remove poorly applied bandages that another Vet had put on my dog's ear, they allowed me to drop in without an appointment. Three vet techs working to get the bandages removed and cleaned up properly, and didn't even charge for it."
