"During the Beginning of the year I bought some certificates to help fight a cause for kids and redeemed my 2 certificates at Beckwith's car care. I own a Jeep purchased last year in Aug and nothing was wrong with it until my first oil change.On this oil change everything went smoothly until my power started to cut out while driving down 59 on my way home from the Beckwith's shop,in Humble. I made it to the off-ramp and coasted to a stop,called a mechanic friend and he told me my terminals were both loose and one of them was missing a bolt.So it was a dollar fix but I could imagine what it would have cost to take it to a shop to figure it out.On my second trip I brought my socket set with me and before I left had to tighten the terminals,go figure.Before I got home a bug hit my window used my sprayer and that's when I realized my wind-shield spray was broke on the drivers side. I figured it was probly empty until the the other side worked. I just letting everyone know my experience with Beckwith's Car Care."

"This man mike is horrible. I paid 500$ down to have him begin building me a custom rearend for my camaross. I had my car stolen and couldnt do anything with the rear end so we both agred to have him sell it and then refund my deposit. Now 3 months later i try to reach him on his cell phone with calls and texts to no avail he doesnt answer or return my calls. Do not use his business as he is not honest at all the man will rob you blind!!"

Something they assured us was going to be a $800 fix turned out to be $1900 fix. Unfortunately your at their mercy once they have your transmission dropped. I understand the transmission is a complicated piece of machinery however I didn't appreciate them misleading me to believe the cost was going to be much less in the beginning. I would have rather them started high and then ended up getting a lower quote as they diagnosed the issue. Nearly 3 weeks to fix our car and left there a week later we had a separate issue not related that they had to repair. Please whatever you do...do not trust anyone at A+ of Kingwood with any of your transmission needs. We have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Quick example...I was stranded after the car was "repaired" because car would not come out of park. I was told to bring car back. Three days later I called to check on status. Before I could ask the rep he stated they just got the part in and it has been sitting on the shelf and asked when could I bring in car? I told him my car was been dropped off 3 days ago. At first I thought someone had stolen my car but he then apologized for not knowing the car was there. Again, don't waste your time or money with this business!"

"Don't EVER go here! WARNING!!! We paid $2,593.57.00 to have our transmission rebuilt, and told it would last 100,000 miles. It broke down 4 months later after 6,700 miles, on VACATION! We had to have it towed in Alabama, get a rental car, none of which we have gotten back! It was fixed by Aamco near Foley, Alabama, and has FAILED a SECOND TIME, after only 19,000 miles. We are once again in a rental car and have been quoted $2,700.00 by Humble Transmission. Summary: Original Repair FAIL, Rental Car expenses incurred, Towing Expenses incurred, VACATION RUINED....do yourself a favor....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

5. On Friday, May 21st, 2010 the transmission failed a SECOND time after only 19,900 miles of normal driving since the Jubilee Services repair and only 26,600 miles of driving since the March 2009 installation.
6. The vehicle was returned to Humble Transmission on Monday May 24, 2010. It was determined by Humble Transmission that multiple transmission part failures had once again occurred. We are left having to pay $2,700.00 AGAIN, plus the rental car expenses, AGAIN, to restore a transmission for a third (3rd) time in only 26,600 miles and 14 months of normal driving.
7. The OWNER Mr. J. Streckfuss is holding to the original 12 month warranty.
8. I believe Humble Transmission misrepresented the standards, quality and grade of the goods sold, which I believe is a violation of Texas Business and Commerce Code Section 17.46."
