>They have as many references as they/friends and family can write you. I'd be surprised if they've done over 50K in renovations, usually after a few thousand their customers grow wise to their scam. He's a good liar if you give him a chance. No offense to his employees, but they do not generally speak English and between his business practices and poor communication skills and that simple fact, I've yet to learn of one former customer of his who had his business finish a job. Usually they continually ask for money without doing the required work until the customer decides to cut their losses and take them to court. Hire at your own risk.

Given one star because you have to or it won't post. They really deserve negative stars, that's how bad they are."

"There is nothing Amazing about this business except that they're so quick to change their name as they burn customers left and right. They've changed their business name at least three times and outright stolen tens of thousands of dollars. They're not listed with the BBB and they haven't been in business for 9 years. They don't specialize in anything except scamming people who have the misfortune of trusting them. Don't walk, but run away from doing any form of business with this business."

"BEWARE!!! of "A-Amazing Renovations" aka "The Amazing Renovations" aka "Wes Walker".
These guys are exactly why the Attorney General of Texas warns us against signing ANYTHING from these kinds of home "service" companies without complete understanding of ALL the contract may entail or become. First clue that these guys aren't legit is their "business" card. Their website (www.theamazingrenovations.com) listed on their card goes no where except GoDaddy.com. There is no address, email, or fax number either on this 'business' card. They claim they are bonded and insured... but again no number. Who does that??? All the other companies I have dealt with since these guys have all that info on their cards. I have nothing kind to say for them other than they put on a good act of trying to earn trust and business. Of course in the end, BEFORE any work had even started... they were threatening and harassing me for their business. My best advise is to use home remodelers with 30+ years of experience, have many references, are an A+ member of the BBB, and have no complaints to the Texas Attorney General. By the way... A-Amazing Renovations aka The Amazing Renovations do not fulfill any of these prerequisites."
