Each year Family Times emergency shelter serves more than 700 victims of domestic violence.
When a business is focused on helping women feel more beautiful in a fun and social way, it's only natural to become in tune and concerned with the problems some women unfortunately face.  The Kingwood, Texas-based Jamberry team of Leila Hays and Brittaney Churchill feel very strongly about these issues, and recently announced they will be sponsoring Be Brave Be Beautiful, a fundraiser for a very important local organization that serves victims of domestic violence.  The event will be held at Pretty Little Things boutique in Kingwood, on Thursday, September 17  from 7-9 p.m., and 25% of all sales of Jamberry merchandise will go to the charity, Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center.

We're very happy to have the opportunity to help this amazing organization that does essential work each and every day, commented Hays, about the fundraiser.  We're really hoping the community steps up, has a great time with us and shows support where it's needed most.  And thank you, to Pretty Little Things boutique, So Chocolate, and Pascale's, without whose help 'Be Brave Be Beautiful' wouldn't be possible.

According to Leila Hays, in addition to 25% of sales, they have designed an exclusive wrap and for each wrap sold $10 will be donated to the cause.  Donations will also be accepted at the event. The proceeds raised will go to buying new clothing for the women staying in Family Times domestic violence shelter, The Door, most of whom are forced to leave their homes with only the clothes they were wearing.

The Door has been operating since 1996, acting as the only all-inclusive shelter and crisis center in Northeast Harris County serving victims of domestic violence and their children. Each year Family Times emergency shelter serves more than 700 victims of domestic violence.
