CureFest is pleased to announce the date for their 2013 main event at the Humble Civic Center (8233 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble, TX 77346) will be August 17, 2013. CureFest is an all-day music festival with live music from more than a dozen bands on two stages, childrens activities such as inflatable moonwalks, obstacle courses and face painting, plus food and drinks, and classic cars and a silent and live auction.
The event is a fundraiser for brain cancer research, with 100% of event proceeds being donated directly to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston to further the research of two remarkable doctors, Dr. Frederick Lang and Dr. Charles Conrad.
Vendors of all kinds will be set up inside the Civic Center for guests to enjoy and purchase goods from 11 am - 4pm. Various bands will perform throughout the day; the silent auction will run most of day; and the live auction will be at 5:30 pm. The team behind CureFest which includes Phils sister, Lynn Beckwith, is having a hard time keeping under wraps the huge headliner performer they are bringing in to cap off the days festivities. With 18 albums, 36 hit singles, and 15 number one hits, CureFest is excited to announce that country music legend John Michael Montgomery will be performing a concert exclusively for CureFest to help raise funds for the cause, beams Lynn.
Similar to last year; the event will run from 11 am to 10 pm, with one notable difference. Guests will be able to purchase
tickets for the daytime music festival and all the activities as a standalone option (11 am 7 pm), or to purchase tickets for the John Michael Montgomery Concert, which will include all-day access to all CureFest has to offer. John Michael Montgomery will perform at 8 pm.
Just like last year; the CureFest Daytime Tickets will be $10 for adults, and $5 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 are free. The John Michael Montgomery Concert tickets start at just $25, and include the same all-day access as the CureFest Daytime Tickets, with the added bonus of seeing him perform live that evening in a very intimate setting.
Tickets are on sale now at CureFest.com. Those interested in being vendors, sponsors or donors for the live or silent auction can also find information on the website.
