Local Networking Group Donates $2000 to FamilyTime Center!
Friday Morning Networking presented a donation check of $2,000 to the FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center in Humble, Texas.
Carmen Wisenbaker, the 2010 President of Friday Morning Networking was thrilled her organization was able to make this donation and stated, “the outgoing and incoming board members were all in agreement when choosing the charity of choice for our donation this year.” Wisenbaker continued by saying, “our non-profit charities serve such an important purpose. There are so many people who benefit from FamilyTime and we can help serve them through our support. Even the smallest donations add up and make a big difference.”
FamilyTime's mission is to provide an outreach program and accessible services to families and individuals in crisis through counseling, crisis intervention, information and referral, and shelter. The FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which was founded in 1977. FamilyTime is staffed by trained professionals and governed by a voluntary Board of Directors.
Judy Cox, Executive Director of FamilyTime, stated, “I’m just thrilled with the donation and it couldn’t have come at a better time. This year the center’s funds have been low. With the holiday season upon us, every penny is crucial. This donation will really make a difference in helping us reach out to the community.”
