Jerry Rowell, owner of six area Gigi’s Cupcake locations, is telling HPD and all area law enforcement, THANK YOU! “We live in the fourth largest city in America. I read an article earlier about Whole Foods passing out sandwiches to the officers in Baltimore... There were many people attacking whole foods for not giving free food/ making up for school lunches since the riot have caused school to be cancelled.... Smh...
Is HPD allowed to accept free gifts? I know in many police departments it is either illegal or against policy for an officer to accept these kinds of gifts. 4951
Same here. One of my friends was a police office but got out of the field due to all that's going on. My job has police on staff at all times and people don't realize how hard they work for such little pay. 1st time I heard they got all this free food I was a little upset until I realized what they do everyday and what they have to put up with. They deserve it! 4951
