Early retired Criminal Investigator I had to slow down before I was ready. Returned home to Texas after retirement and re-learning the area. Fell in love with Kingwood when I took a short drive through while visiting a patient in Kingwood Hospital. I felt like I was truly home. The streets and sidewalks were clean and many people were out walking, jogging and biking. Wow and most around my age too! I also noticed several police cars which added to the overall appeal to me. Kingwood has all the warmth of a small community coupled with city amenities one likes to be close by. The merchants are usually very expert at customer service and those that are not do not fair well for long in Kingwood. It is so nice to be able to walk the streets, greet people, have them greet you back. Its like we all care about the same thing, our home. I am at home in Kingwood and will be searching for a small home to buy to settle in as my last resting place. Thanks for the welcome Kingwood.
