Have you seen this guy? He was on the porch and never rang the doorbell. He had a clipboard and what seems like a uniform. He went into the backyard for two minutes. He's not with centerpoint or the utility locators. Sorry the resolution isn't good I screenshotted the image and zoomed in. This happened on 9/28.

Why would he go into your backyard without your permission? 4951

if strangers bothered me, i think i would just lock the frigging gates so no one can walk in my yard. it might also keep the dogs in the yards from getting out because people leave the gates open.  4951

@sweetie:
I can't tell what his patch says. Extra security measures taken! The Atascocita side of Kingwood is the area.

That guy is dressed like another guy (young, light complexion black guy) that came to our door in Greentree today.  My wife went to the door and just asked him what he wanted through the door.  He said he was with some remodeling company that was doing work nearby.  At that point, my wife just told him we weren't interested.A few minutes later, one of our dogs in our back yard started barking like crazy.  My wife went outside and this same guy and another guy was standing and talking outside our fence between the fence and the street.  My wife asked what they were doing (through the fence) and they said just waiting for their ride.  My wife asked them to move along because our dog might attack them (not true, but they moved down the road).  A large barking dog tends to get people's attention. 4951

@Retired_Engineer:

Reminds me of all of those storm chasing Chuck in a truck types that were everwhere following Ike.

@ProblemAgain:
Locked gates and doors work wonders. I may often go out side door as pups bark at front. Usually is a nice surprise for the knockers, lol. 4951

@Retired_Engineer: Wow can't believe he walked in your yard and claimed that he was waiting for a ride. What company allows guys to go in people's backyards without permission? One that I would never use! I'm still skeptical that they were even with a real company.

@Champagnechola:  He didn't come into our backyard.  We are on a corner and he was outside our fence on the side.  With our large dog barking like crazy in our backyard, he would have not dared come inside the fence.

WTH?!  Did anyone call the police?  I would be livid if some stranger just walked into my back yard!  You shouldn't have to lock your gate.  The gate itself should indicate private area, keep out.  It's a sad world we live in now that we have to lock everything because people can't behave themselves. 4951
