Neighborhood/street dependent. Ask your neighbors what works best in your area.
Also CL does not deliver TV, requires satellite. 4951

I've never had any problems with century link. They are super nice too. Called and they reduced my bill by $30 cause of my customer loyalty! 4951

Suddenlink is way over leveraged. They are in some serious debt. No way they crawl out of it. Century Link, less debt but also, not making any money. They are more about breaking even and trying to survive. I believe in less than 10 years both will be gone for good but right now only options we have unfortunately. Somebody like a Google or Verizon is going to buy them out or watch them bleed to death.  4951

Century Link will never show up for repairs.  Suddenlink works on calls in the area 24/7.  Hands down they are better and have speeds light years ahead of the slow stuff CL sells. 4951

How did these two clowns of all utility's monopolize this area? They need to get out the way and let real businesses take control. 4951

I agree with @ET's comment.  I had nothing but trouble with Century Link and switched to Suddenlink for my internet, and love their service.  I rarely have slowdowns or stoppages with Suddenlink.  People on other streets/sections have great service from Century Link.

Century Link is gouging my co worker, he has it bundled with his Direct TV which he is currently trying to get out of and he pays like $70 for 10 mbps and thats just horrible. You can pay $70 with Suddenlink and get 200 up and 25 down I believe. Suddenlink is wayyy better 4951

Avoid Centrylink not unless you want dial-up speed and no shows on appointments. I went with Suddenlink and no problems as of yet...only a month out though. But really not a whole lot of choices in the 77339 zip code. 4951

I have CenturyLink for phone and internet. I always assumed both of our choices were equally bad. But judging by some of these comments, maybe I should look into switching to Suddenlink. DirecTV for my tv. I nixed Dish when they refused to carry ROOT Sports. Ridiculous that they are still holding out.  4951

We've had cebturylink for years. A few months ago I was fed up told them I was switching. They had a rep out here same day gave us s new router and played with the settings been fine ever since. In the 8 years we've been with Ive never had CL no show for an aapt. 4951

Also depends on your needs. If you just need internet for a couple of people CL is fairly cheap and I have had no issues for 8 months. We pay $38 and it's clocking at a little over 8.That's all CL is really good for otherwise go with SL. 4951
