HOUSTON - A billboard with the words "Feel the Burn" off Highway 59 near the Westpark ramp is getting a lot of buzz. It looks like an ad for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, but it has absolutely nothing to do with politics.'Feel the Bern' is a popular phrase among supporters of Sanders.A change of one letter and a website listed on the sign reveals it's a marketing campaign for a very different type of sensation."The burning typically associated with chlamydia and gonorrhea," Ramirez said.LINK 4951

I saw the story last night on the news. Clever but still a tad gross. Very necessary for those at risk that need to be tested, though. 4951

I drove by it about a week ago but I think it was somewhere else closer to Kingwood. I like clever billboards that make you think and chuckle. I remember a series of them in Atlanta when I was caring for my parents. They were put up by a vasectomy clinic. One said 'Fertilize your lawn, not your wife!" 4951

Chris: it's expensive to fertilize anything these days (wife or the lawn).
But I think the wife is more fun even though a tad bit more expensive. 4951

I think the Houston Museum of either history or natural science, I forget which, has some great clever billboards. Always cute plays on words or phrases. 4951
