So here is my second thread on the water issue. I decided to test two water samples I collected from the faucet when that nasty, brown crap was coming out. I went to Home Depot and bought a H2O K Plus water test kit. I tested for Iron, Lead, Copper, Pesticides, Coliform etc. in the water. Unfortunately the water came back positive for Coliform. I have attached a pic of the water test and will post a pic of what the water looks like undisturbed after two days. Absolutely disgusting! My test did not show lead or pesticides, in the water (but I would like to run it again to be safe). The Chlorine, Iron and Copper content was well above normal which I expected. So these are my INDEPENDENT Tests. No, I am not a biologist nor a scientist so I cant give you a paper on it. However, I know one thing, I don't care what any city councilmen says about the water being safe, I am NOT drinking or cooking with it any longer. And for those that do not know what Coliform is here is the definition:Coliforms are a group of bacteria that are used as indicators of the potential presence of pathogens, viruses or parasites in a sample. These microbes are defined as a group of bacteria having specific properties including ability to grow at 35C, in the presence of bile salts and able to ferment lactose.Thank God my lease is coming to end because I am out of here!

@ranier04: Yes I am serious Kingwood is overpriced and overblown. Look at all the failed projects around here. All the way from a 6 year project on a 5 story building to a ghost theme park.
I say we all move out and section 8 this place. 4951

@friday1: let alone how much they OVERCHARGE us on our water bill. I am still fighting the city of houston on my bills. They keep claiming we are using 140000 to 210000 gallons of water a month. Give me a break! We have shut our sprinkler system off and cut back on our water usage and it still continues to rise. They will not help us on it, because they don't care!

@ranier04: Yes i agree with you COH sucks when it comes to water. At least the woodlands have their own independent system. COH will never admit fault on anything trust me I know I have lived in it for 40+ years.

Arrived home this evening and checked by water. It was clear.

Let it run for about 20 minutes and it's still clear.

I'll see what happens when I shower but all looks good right now.

I do think I'll go to Lowes tomorrow and get a test kit.

@Burnsway:

Say what? Please don't go on the news and say that. Animals can drink from street puddles and be completely healthy. 4951
