That telemarketing job is a base pay. Usually start at 10 an hour and you get commission. 20 years ago I worked for a timeshare and would average 18 an hour.
If you want more than base pay act it by doing more, doing it right and taking on more responsibility.
If anyone needs a pay raise it's waitstaff. $2.33 an hour is just stupid. That hasn't changed in a very very long time. The tips they earn are....
