Son: "you know how some people have the super power of being 10x's more powerful than their own weight?'

Me: sure

Son: " if I had that power then I would just gain a bunch of weight then I would be even more powerful"

Me: uhmmm. Ok, that might work

Son: "do you think it would work like that or do you think it would be based on your weight when you got the power?"

Me: I'm not sure, I guess it depends on the mood of the person handing out those super powers..

Son: "that probably a question no one else has had before."

Me: you are probably right...did you turn the oven off?

Son: yes

Me: are you sure because you have to press both of those buttons. (I went to check....oven was on)

I need to ask my husband the superpower question....I bet it wouldn't multiply based on weight gain.  Although, The Thing does get bigger when he uses his power. 4951

22 is young. He's still working things out. This proves he's got great logic and is not afraid to step out of the box and use his brain. He will do well...he just needs some time to hone it all in and bring it together. Sounds like great potential they just might be a late bloomer. No harm in that. 4951

@BooBear: Even better. Don't worry at all. Nowadays, kids don't immediately launch at 18. He just needs to simmer a bit. He will be just fine! Encourage that creativity!
