its a sad day here for me. I know most people wouldn't agree but I had to set my sudden link service up to disconnect at the end of the month. I personally have been very happy with them and never had a problem. They gave me faster speeds for free and any issues were promptly fixed. Tavola only uses ATT Uverse which is pricy. Their speeds are a 7th of what I have with sudden link and cost the same. They also have a 250gb cap so we had to get cable. Hopefully our area sudden link rep is reading this and can get sudden link to Tavola by the 29th. I also work for verizon so I hate to pay my competition. 4951

I went with an antenna last year. Thought I would have withdrawals but the opposite happened. I never will go back to paying for TV again other than having Amazon which I also get for free from doing some work on the side for credits. The channels on antenna are also decent. One called Justice is a 24 hr crime channel which my wife is addicted to and there is one called Livewell with all kinds of DIY stuff and great cooking shows. Another one is GRIT with older guy movies which I also like. All in all, I get about 30 channels free of charge through an antenna. I also live around large towering trees. I imagine I could get even more with no large tree canopy.  4951

This is the antenna I have, around $50. Works awesome. Most channels are HD, very good quality NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, ION, CW, FOX plus a bunch of other ones that are good for older movies and shows, even some classic TV and movie channels.  You can also buy a DVR and record but they are costly, around $300. I may splurge at some point. LAVA OmniPro HD-8008 omni-directional HDTV Antenna 4951

@nicole4647Didn't suddenlink start putting a cap on theirs last month as well?   When I signed up for the 100kbps service, they told me the cap was 450GB. 4951

They did put a cap on it but I blow through it every month and never had a problem, AT&T will charge $10 for every 50gb over. We easily use 500gb. That's a $50 overage every month if we keep streaming like we do now. So my bill is $45 for 75mbps with Suddenlink but will now be $60 for 6mbps and cable with AT&T or $50 for 16mbps plus a $50 overage every month if we don't get cable. My husband is a gamer if you wonder how we use so much. And we have to rent a modem for $7 a month on top of that where as we own ours with Suddenlink.

@aggiebutterfly
I hope you don't have 100kbps because that is only a tad faster then dial up. You would never be able to use 450gb. 4951
