I went to Old Navy today(I love the Sweetheart style) and was told my size is special order only.  Specifically, she said "People that size are supposed to be short."  I do not like the really low rise jean but I don't like high rise either.  Anyone know the best place to get a 4 Tall? The sweetheart ones are 15.00 more online than in stores.  I would like to keep the jeans under $40.00 if possible.  Thanks! 4951

I hate jeans shopping! When I cleaned out my closet, I had 37 pair and none of them fit right. I'm tall too, so length is always an issue.  4951

@noel: I can't stand the regular jeans-they just don't fit right.  I don't get why the store stopped carrying the talls and charge more online for them.  I guess there aren't as many tall girls as I thought.  I am only 5'8" but my legs are as long as my 6'2" father's and longer than my Dh who is taller than me as well.

I'm 5'7" and never considered myself to be all that tall, but I think the average woman is something like 5'4". Good luck on your jeans search and let me know if you find a good brand. I don't like the really high or low waists either. 4951

@Okiedokie:

Have you ever tried new York and company? I know they carry every size (tall, short) in store and if you can't find your size they will ship it to you for like $5. 4951

@noel: I will let you know.  I looked online and Penney's had a few.  I used to love A.N.A. but they went to more of a low rise so I switched.  Maybe they went back to mid rise.

delias.com (true to size) and jcpenny.com has levis (2 sizes too big) that are talls. I also like american eagle but not their prices, aeropostale.com, buckle, NY & Co, sometimes I get lucky at target. But delias and jcpenny is where i usually go. im 6' so im a pro now. Now i just need to find tall tops and t shirts. 4951

I'm 5 8.5 and wear between a size 4-8 tall. Depends on what mood I'm in .. Sometimes I like to wear them tight Emoticon and the size 6 fits just right .. size 8 is for my big preggo butt Emoticon I usually spend the extra money and get my long jeans at Express. It's HARD to find long enough jeans. Oh and I like Abercrombie and the GAP. I keep my jeans for a couple of years so I don't mind spending the extra money. 4951

@noel: I went on a mission yesterday.  I learned a few things- AVOID KOHLS!!  They do not carry talls.  In fact, unless you want to pay $100.00, they do not have 4's except in petites.I ended up at Penneys.  I got the Arizona brand jeans.  They actually make it look like I have a butt.  It took some searching b/c most junior jeans are low rise, but their boot cut jean is more mid rise.  They had longs in every size.  I was going to look at other stores, but am not a shopper so I can only take it in small doses.

I hate all of you for wearing a size 4 Emoticon I'm all about dat bass bout dat bass... lol!
I understand your plight. I am 5'4 1/2 and jeans are all too longEmoticon Under 5'4" is considered petite, so if I get the petite, they are too short. I thought Old Navy carried talls? 4951

@topcat: Only online and they hardly ever go on sale. I know they used to carry Talls in stores but due to lack of demand, they are now only online.  I know it's still cheap, but I just don't want to pay 15.00more for something online.
