Can anyone recommend a newborn photographer in the area that is reasonably priced? I checked out a few online but they started at 550 and above which is out of my price range. 4951

If you find a newborn that can take pictures, you should not care about the price! That would just be cool!Emoticon  4951

I don't think newborns are able to operate cameras. Good luck, though. 4951

I was recently at the ribbon cutting for Fresh Light Photography in Humble. She specializes in baby pics. She is on face book as Fresh Light Photography or www.fresh-light-phot ography.com/Tell her Tony from the Chamber gave you the info and she may cut you a deal. 4951

Those prices are way too high for a new born. The quality and posing are not that great. 4951

Save yourself a lot of money and just get (borrow) a camera and take a few dozen pictures, find the best couple and print them onto good paper and get a nice frame.  Everyone who cares about your baby will think that the picture is great and anyone else won't care if you spent  $3 or $300.  4951

I agree @Jake_Bob! My son is 24 and I have been going through all of his pictures lately and the ones I like the most are the candid shots that I took myself. 4951

i don't really think i want to take a newborn to sears for pictures.  getting a 3-8 day old out of the house with my 2 and 4 year old in tow is the definition of insanity.

surely there is something around the 175-350 range.

i am all for candid shots and will have plenty of those as well...however, i want a family photo professionally done so i can use for announcements and a christmas card.   just don't want to shell out 550+ 4951
