Looks like everyone must be having a boring weekend - not many responses.  I'm hanging out at the pool and maybe go see Bourne Supremacy.

yard work on Saturday to get it done & out of the way . Then to Krogers for groceries . Once that is done we will go to Kohls to grab a few items off the rack  & then to Macys to check out their big one day event sale. Olive Garden afterwards & then Redbox for a movie or 2 & home for the evening.....Sunday we will check out the stores in Houston & maybe go see a movie  & eat out again . Hubby has been wanting to go to "Hot Potato" on 1960 , he loves the hot dinner rolls they throw across the dining room (LOL) the food is not the best but hubby enjoys it (LOL) I would rather go to Saltwater or Olive Garden again (LOL) .

About to go grab some lunch with hubby & my monkey here in a minute, then shopping for my little cousins birthday gift. My moms 5th surgery is in 30 minutes so depending on her condition & whether or not my dad advises, I will drive to Methodist downtown to visit her. Cooking who knows what for dinner. Tomorrow is my little cousins 3rd birthday so we're going to that. There will be a moon bounce/ inflatable water slide combo & after everyone leaves, my grown cousins, DH, & myself will break out the booze & play on it ourselves. (inflatable water slide are ridiculously fun!) Then Sunday my daughter has a cheer leading competition in Jersey Village, so I'm sure we'll be there all day.

@Heathur, let us know how your mom is doing.  Many prayers to her and ya'll for today and during her recovery.

We had big plans for today, but I had to cancel most of them.  My dh is stuck out of the country.  Hopefully he will be here by tonight.  So instead of fun stuff, we are getting a few things cleaned, and I am making my dh a cheesecake.

Congratulations on a new house!

If you can, take your time moving in.  We got to do that when we bought this house.  I moved us in room by room.  Then hired movers to bring the furniture over.  It was easy and stress free.   Well as stress free as moving can be.

That is exactly what we are doing Fallon! we closed last week and had movers move everything from storage in. Now I am waiting for the painters to come over and paint. Plus we have stuff at my in laws house that we are slowly moving over there. Should be fully moved in by the end of next week. Kinda nice to not have to rush in there!

By going slow I was able to weed out a lot of things I just really didn't need or wasn't going to use.

That way when I moved in my cabinets and closets were all fairly well organized.

We painted too before we moved in.  Best decision ever.  So much easier than when you have to move furniture.

@Heathur hope all goes well with your mom's surgery .

I have no plans. Staying inside in the A/C. Except for evening dog walks and ferminator brushings.

I am too miserable to do much else. Me and the heating pad will be one.

@Fallon:

I just got back from the doctors office and I am not dialated yet. She predicts the baby will be 8.5-9 pounds when born!! No wonder my belly fells so heavy and my back and pelvis hurt.

Oh I can relate.  My oldest was 8 6 oz.  And 3 weeks early.  And I know he was on my bladder for the last month

Really get all the rest you can, while you can.
