Looking to trade my 1999 Civic for a truck/pickup.  Nothing fancy, just time I had a truck again. 4951

At least you are being realistic. Do you mean you want to sell your car and then buy a truck? 4951

Yes I would just like to swap straight across. I am not thinking I will get a top of the line truck/pickup or anything, I just figured since I am looking to trade my older car for a truck/pickup, there has got to be someone out there with an older truck/pickup wishing they had a car instead.  Straight across trade.  Never hurts to check.   I know I could sell the car then buy a truck, or buy a truck and then sell the car.  but its not a 'I HAVE to have a truck/pickup.' Type of situation.  More of a 'Be nice if I had a truck instead.'   With these fancy schmancy  interwebs,  I figured the chances of me finding someone local were fair to middlin' 4951

@herron1345 and @et_al Looking for any kind of truck really,  doesn't matter much.  Oh it needs to fit in my garage , so not to  long.  Work from home, so I don't drive much. Just getting tired of borrowing the wife's car (Element) when I need to get things (mulch, lumber, etc)1999 Honda Civic EX 4 door 5 speed manual 204k Miles.  Refurb motor has 25K miles on it.  Installed @178k miles.   Power windows/locks. Tinted windows.  Has alarm.   Leaks a little bit of oil, and power steering fluid needs to filled up every now and then, but its a good running car.    New tires/ Shocks.   Radiator and headlights, bumper, hood etc were replaced when a jacked up truck backed into me because he couldn't see me,  tail hitch went right through the grill of my poor little car a couple months after I bought it.  So it also has an air horn w/ toggle switch so you can put it on regular , stock 'meep meep' horn for yearly inspections and such.@Okiedokie Thanks Emoticon  (He's good in Revolution too) 4951

@Okiedokie: I tell ya what, it's a little car, and with all the big Texas trucks around here,  they never see me when they are changing lanes! Since I have had the horn, it has saved me from getting hit a few times.   Totally worth it for sure.  They never heard the stock horn.
