Fleas aren't because of the cats, fleas are because of the wild animals.  G'zz  Do you know squirrels and all other wild carry more pest into your yards then household animals?  These cats probably belong to people on your block or in the village.  A lot of cats run free as there is NO leash law for cats.  My 2 that go out usually stay in their yard and potty then come back in, they refuse to use a cat box.Dont round up someones kitty instead put vinegar around your property and they will stay away.
@angiekaye:
www.houstontx.gov/he alth/quicktips/leash %20law.htmYes there is a leash/control law for cats. All cats in Texas must be under owners direct physical control just like dogs. They are not special. Last year we had tons of squirrels but I haven't seen one in our trees yet this year; however, the number of stray cats has increased...I'm not a genius but...
I won't be spreading mass amounts of chili powder around my yard so I can do it again each time I run my sprinklers. I don't think my dogs would appreciate it either.
I have the fleas under control but the poop on the porch is too much. HOA said to trap them and take em to BARC. Animal control can take 1-2 days to pick up. Sorry but my yard is not your cat's litter box. I will pm the gentlemen about which cat is his parents, I doubt it's the one I've seen around my garage, those look far from family pets. 4951
