A Mars fatwa placed into effect by the United Arab Emirates' General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowment Muslims (GAIAE) means that Muslims can not travel to Mars, even if they want to. A fatwa ( a legal pronouncement in Islam) so dictates, arguing that it would be "a real risk to life" and they likened it to suicide, which is forbidden in the Koran.“Such a one-way journey poses a real risk to life, and that can never be justified in Islam,” said the GAIAE committee. “There is a possibility that an individual who travels to planet Mars may not be able to remain alive there, and is more vulnerable to death." Let that sink in a little, then think back to the SUICIDE BOMBERS. 4951

Suicide is forbidden, they claim. But suicide bombers are glorified. 4951
