I thought someone was looking for a missing kitty, several actually.  What village do you live in? I would take her BUT I have two baby boys I am trying to find good homes for too!  4951

Well, I still have the kitten....She (I think at least) is currently living in my back bedroom - my dogs don't like cats....I brought her in to get her out of the storms recently (she had not discovered my garage yet, and was just living in the bushes at night).....I also don't want to put her back out and end up with her getting pregnant.  PLEASE if you want a kitten, or know of someone who does....I will help with the cost of getting her spayed/neutered...either that, or help with the cost of shots....I posted an ad on KYS, but it would NOT let me post a picture for some reason....But, the ad is there. She is SO SWEET, and uses the litter box.  I was cursing my "soft heart" when I was at the store buying cat litter..... 4951

That was nice of you to take her in. It's extremely difficult to find homes for animals right now. Unless it's a small kitten, people are not interested.

Hard enough finding homes for dogs, cats even harder. Can u just have her spayed and crack the garage door for her? Keep her food & water in the garage so she gets acclimated to it. I have 3 cats in my garage, all street strays who just showed up. So sick of people not spaying/neutering their outside cats, they just get rid of the kittens and never get the cats fixed. Ignorant! 4951

Cats are really hard to find homes for. My cat Tabitha, aka ringworm kitty, I got from a rescue. When I was worried about ringworm and my pregnancy I asked the rescue group if they would take her back. The contract says not to bring the animal to a shelter or SPCA but to give it back to the rescue if u can no longer care for it.

They wouldn't take her back either. Even though she was treated for the ringworm and had all her shots. They didn't have room for her.

I still have her.

My garage is cracked right now for my original "Outdoor Kitty".....As soon as I can afford to get her spayed, I will be doing just that....then putting her in my garage and hoping she continues to like it.  Emoticon 4951

Get her spayed at Spay Houston. They are located near Greenspoint area off Imperial Valley. You drop her off in am & pick her up in the afternoon. They are reasonable. 4951

I just got my momma cat fixed at Spay of houston... Cost me only 68 for the fix and 15 for the rabies shot.!    Compaired to all the vets around here the cheapest is the Crosby Vet on 2100.  Most vets around kingwood want 150+ and all of them charge extra for everything including if they are in "heat" or pregnant.  One vet around here actually quoted me 320!!!!!  no wonder people dont get their animals fixed! my boys I got done for free at SPCA. 4951

I will def. be calling SPCA and Spay Houston....but I need to get her shots for her first.......doubt she has even had them.....Sucks that she is so damn cute!  She would be an indoor kitty for me for sure IF my dogs didn't thing they were rag toys.  4951
