at 9 am this morning I went to the post office, I was the 2nd person in line , there was one person being waited on & he had about 20 or so packages he was mailing . After 20 minutes we were still waiting in line . I asked the clerk if he could call someone else to help him since he was still waiting on the man with all the packages. He said "NO". there was no ne he could call. By this time the line is to the door & people are still coming in . I finally get to the counter & mail my one small package .
I try not to go to the post office because the people working there are rude & there is always a long line & never more than one person at the counter to wait on everyone.
It's no wonder the post office is loosing money & closing down alot of it's offices. I for one wish they would either get new people with better attitudes at the Kingwood office or shut it down . 1960 is much better & I don't mind driving the extra miles to get good service. From now on that's where I will be going .
Â
Has anyone else had any problems at the Kingwood Office ? Just wondering. 4951

Yes, they are always very rude and terribly slow...almost on purpose! And call for another clerk? You'd think you had asked them to cut off their own arm. It's ridiculous!! 4951

the Post Office on 1960 is down on the right side about 5 miles . I believe there is a gas station on the corner but the people there are really nice & give very fast service. 4951

So what's your problem? If you go there with any frequency, you should already know wht kind of "service" you will receive there. 4951

The few times I have been there they have been nice. They are under staffed and lines can get backed up when someone wants a passport photo. 4951

I hate the Kingwood post office with a passion. I went there to pick up a package an hour before they closed, when I walked in they told me they were closing and I could not get my package. I know many places seem to like to close early but an hour early really? I have also had problems with my mail being opened, but only things from my bank are opened, including a replacement debit card, I had to cancel the card. Many of my packages end up missing and never coming. They are terrible with giving me other peoples mail. I have had to sign the paper of who all lives in my house many times. I keep telling them to stop sending me other peoples mail. After a year of this I just gave up. I dread having to get packages now and have stopped ordering things online because I am sick of dealing with them.  4951

I avoid the Post Office if at all possible. I have complained twice about improper mail deliveries (either I get someone else's mail, or they get mine). The Post Office is losing money and they are considering cutting service on Saturdays. I would like to see the Post Office deliveries reduced to three times per week (Mon, Wed, and Fri). I do almost all of my bills over the Internet and if I order something, I use either FedEx or UPS. 4951

same here "retired" 3 times a week would be enough mail deliveries for me , all we ever get is junk mail or our neighbors mail . Since we pay everything by computer stamps are not needed . 4951

Kingwood Postoffice works in slow motion! The black man at the counter is not nice & plain rude. This PO is large enough to have at least 2 people working at all times. Talk about mismanaged! 4951

I dropped a package off there on May 4th. It was a return of a broken cell phone. I received an txt from Verizon today saying I'm being charged since they haven't received the phone yet. I check the tracking number and it shows it was accepted there on May 5th and on the 15th it says it was still at the KW PO. Today is the 29th. Now I have to go there tomorrow and discuss it with the rude government workers who think I'm bothering them when I walk into the door. 4951
