I enjoyed reading this article in the Observer today as it relates to the successful career of a 2003 Kingwood High Graduate. Lt. Robert Spence, a flight officer in the U.S. Navy, is part of a squadron known as "Zappers" who command the Navy's new electronic warfare aircraft the EA-18G Growler. Spence is a weapons systems operator on the flight team and has flown many successful missions in Operation Enduring Freedom.Spence is part of a squadron that is on the forefront of emerging electronic warfare tactics and technology.You can read more about Lt.
