I had my yearly physical this morning, and most of it was as expected...I'm fat and shouldn't smoke, but overall healthy. But when he listened to my breathing, he detected a little noise. He asked if I'd been sick recently, but I haven't. He ordered a chest X-ray just in case, and sure enough...Pneumonia! I feel fine, so I was a little taken back. He said it could be(and probably is) "Walking" pneumonia, but would have to wait until blood tests came back to be sure. Either way, he gave me a steroid pack, 2 antibiotics, and a different kind of nasal spray than I already use. On a more positive note, I'm thankful(as much as it hurts to say) for
@lilham1 nagging me to get my check-up done. We go through this every year or so, and she always wins. I'm also thankful for good insurance. All of the tests, the visit, and prescriptions were a whopping total of $23.
