the new community center is associated with the YMCA,I currently teach there so it would be a conflict of interest. Still looking though I received a call from a church in Kingwood they are running the idea past the board members and I will have an answer soon, I'll keep you posted.
I am in and if I hear of any locations I will definitely let you know. Thanks for doing this. There are other dance groups in other areas but none in our little neighborhood. If and when you start this is going to grow rapidly. Thanks.
I copied this from the webiste: Turner said the center is needed, and would be an asset to the community. The center will work in conjunction with the Lake Houston Family YMCA, located in Kingwood, he said. The YMCA is about one mile from the center's location. "We didn't want to compete with the YMCA, which is one of the reasons that we didn't have a basketball court or other amenities like that in the center," he said. "Since we are going to work in conjunction with the YMCA, it made more sense to do it this way." Jenna Dhayer, YMCA community executive director, said the center would allow the organization to reach a demographic not usually associated with the YMCA.
Hi everyone so I have the go ahead from Good Shepard Church in Kingwood on Woodland Hills Dr. now I'm just figuring out what days/nights will work with my schedule. What works for you guys? When would you like to have a class? I know everyone will have a different day/time but looking at the majority to help make my decision. Thanks.
I have an 'erratic' schedule each week- in and out of town different days, different weeks..so whenever you have it, and i'm off... I'l be there...I'd love it.. I , so, need it! . day, night, etc. thanks
