I know I was a harsh critic of Farm to Market in the beginning, but they really did turn things around and turned into a great place with wonderful service and recipes. I wish they had managed to hang on and keep the momentum going. Unfortunately, I thought they might be close to shutting the doors when trimmed their hours, yet again, to only open during lunch and eliminated some of the best items from their menu.
I'm not familar with Fish Tales, but I'm looking forward to trying it. Will it be the same owners just buying a new franchise, or a whole new entity?
My son gave me the info driving by and reading something posted on the store. I have seen a fish tales trailer running around this area. I assume its the folks out of Cleveland that started as a food trailer and opened a couple rest.
I believe their FB page, a week or so ago, was asking people to submit their favorite fishing photos with major hints about fish and the same location, so it DOES look like same location, same owners, just different concept. Maybe their are going to use the photos, blow them up and decorate with them, or get ideas for decor and such. F2M had it's bumps in the beginning, but I think they listened to their customers, learned from it, and hopefully, when FishTales opens, it will do great. They can still incorporate some of the healthy items from F2M into the menu, without narrowing their focus so much turns people off. We really don't have a lot of great non-chain seafood locations around this area, so it should do well.
I really liked F2M and I can't wait to try the new place!
Fish Tales is opening this year. I cant wait to hear about the new Restaraunt in a year that will be opening after fish tales. That location is cursed. They need to open a tire shop, or a daycare there. Anything but a restaraunt. That location is a dream killer.
I don't think it's the location. JChristophers isn't a good location and it thrives.
I wish they would make it a berry hill and add a front porch. Or even a sweet tomatoes!
true,, but most people drive by the place without seeing it,, there are trees and no signs.
when I drive by, I am more concerned about getting hit by someone pulling out, than looking for a restaurant.
That place used to be a mexican place, several years ago,, and it was really good food, but location killed it.
