and.....they can't come out to turn it back on until Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The next "after hours" appointment they have is Friday....guess that will teach me to do a better job of keeping up with paying the bills. Better looking into setting it up with auto pay....sigh....ok, so I'm going through a divorce and my ex did all the bill paying
I'm from Humble. Not sure of your location. If you need a fondue/hot pot for heating water then you can borrow mine. Or you know if you have a coffee maker you could just run water through it. When you are ready for your sponge bath then you'll probably decide pretty quick what you'll need. So sorry to hear this happened.
It takes them 3 days to come out even when it's their error. When we moved to Kingwood and transferred the account their rep messed up the transfer and our gas got cut off. Even though we had confirmation numbers from the transfer it still took them 3 days and then they could only come out on a Friday morning or we would have to wait until the next week. Luckily my dad is retired and didn't mind sitting around waiting for their rep.
One time I suspected a gas leak and the lady told me to go back and check again. duh. I had to haggle with her to get a man out here to run a check. I wonder if you call again and speak with a different rep would you get the same answer?
I forgot to pay our gas bill once and they cut it off, when I called and paid it over the phone the guy I spoke to said it was going to take two days to turn it back on but I ask if there was any way they could come sooner he said something about an extra fee I think, anyways they were here the next day. Call back and speak to someone else and ask if there is anyway someone could come out.
