Really love Pappas. The Chilean Sea Bass or Scallops have never disappointed.

If you like fried and spicy, I like the seafood platter at Pappadeaux.

I like the food at Pappas but it is so loud in that place, we never go.Babin's in the Woodlands is really good food.  They have a few GF items on their menu tooEmoticon

@Fallon:

We try to go on off hours to the Pappas chain restaurants. Is 3 pm a super late lunch or tremendously early dinner? 4951

The sauteed crab claws at Nino's are a gift from God. Next, their Snapper Nino. I think they are closed on Sunday though. 4951

@FoFa:

Depends if her route to Kemah passes by the Galleria with less than a week before Christmas. 4951

I second the vote for Kemah, but also agree with Pappa's if you don't want to travel that far. 4951

I can't eat out much because of soy and preservatives but I like Sharkys. Its on the water calming and I like their food. I am not supposed to have fried food but I love their shrimp boat on the menu. Great reviews if you would like to check. Its close and calm to me. The servers are great. I have their California Cobb salad crab meat fetta cheese egg good protein and its awesome. 4951

I honestly don't really care for Babins. Papa's Seafood gets my vote. Or the lobster at Taste of Texas! 4951

I don't see what the big deal is with Babins. I've never been served a delicious meal there, very mediocre. I've been to two different locations. 4951

Pappas Seafood is really good as well. Last time I was there I got the blackened catfish topped with a crawfish tail sauce and it was amazing! 4951
