Oh yeah, I am trying my hand at vegan, gluten free, sugar free ginger cookies and sugar cookies.
 
@Okiedokie: No offense but what's left to add to them, and can you really call them cookies? Sounds more you are surfing into bland biscuit territory.

@Okiedokie: No offense but what's left to add to them, and can you really call them cookies? Sounds more you are surfing into bland biscuit territory.
 
 
@donnatella: And that would be why, the next day, dd will be cooking the real thing with my mom.  EmoticonThey look really good though and I did research to find the ones with the best reviews, so my fingers are crossed they come out decent.

@Okiedokie: There are old-fashioned cookies my Mom made one time called tea cakes. That sort of sounds like what you are making...along the lines of a shortbread...sort of.
