So, dudes.... I was getting my "super deadly mashed tater station" set up in my kitchen earlier... (Ya know, hot pad to set the taters on, salt, pepper, butter, milk, all within arms reach, and of course my handy hand mixer to whip them with...)Anywho, I pulled out my old-school, trusty Hamilton Beach Mixette, that I received as a "hand me up" from my husband's aunt, (it was actually her mother's, who had recently passed) right after we got married.........13 years ago in March...Well, I decided to look up the Model Number, and I kid you not, this dude is from 1957.......Still runnin' like a straight up champ!  Â
@herron1345:Â Is it all metal or is it made with bakelite. Just about anything made with bakelite is considered a collectable. A Hamilton Beach from 1957 made with bakelite may be worth something to a collector. I don't know how much it woud be worth, it may be worth more to you as a trusty standby, either way, it's rare so hang on to it.
