Bree is barfing, been doing it all day.Thought it was weird finish her dinner last nightNot constant barfing, just 2 or 3 times today.Keeping her outside as at least 2 times were in the house. She is a little sheepish also.So what can you give a dog to quell tummy troubles? 4951

the pink bismuth tablets...one good way to do it is use a tortilla. cut a piece of tortilla big enough to fold over the tablet or tablets, put peanut butter on the piece and put the tablets in the peanut butter, then fold it over so it is a packet so the dog will swallow it down. 4951

If you have Pepto and a syringe, shoot some down the hatch. 4951

I have given my 8 lb 6oz toy poodle a quarter of a tablet (10 mg) of Pepcid AC for upset tummy.  The vet told me to do that.  You buy it over the counter. 4951

Plain white rice with some cooked groud beef ( no grease) and a little chicken broth for fluid. She or he will be happy to get a "treat" and should keep it down. 4951

My dog has been doing this all last night and all day today! Finally got it all out.  Stupid dog! I had pulled out the dishwasher and the stupid dog found an OLD piece of cat food or something and ate it!  He knows every time he eats cat food he barfs for days!  Why do dogs do this?  Cats will only get sick ONCE and never touch it again.  Dogs devour everything in site! 4951

another thing (pepto is great or immodium) but let them eat grass.  Its a natural way to get the poisons out of their system. 4951

@angiekaye: Grass is one of the biggest components of her barf.
