How long would you stay mad at your significant other, who has always talked in their sleep, if they said something to you in their sleep/ half awake that was really mean for no reason? 4951

I could milk that one for at least a couple of weeks. It could be quite beneficial for you as he tries to get back in your good graces.   4951

Does he remember saying it?  And, did you talk to him about it?  And, to me, it depends on how genuine I thought his response was to me when I talked to him about it.....  4951

@pharlap:
No he doesn't remember it at all. He woke up in the guest room not remembering now he got there. He woke me up to ask me (at 4 in the damn morning) but the got no response because it was 4 in the damn morning & I was tired! lol. So he called me at 8am to ask, which again I was asleep because DD is home from school & sleeps until 10am AT LEAST so I was trying to sleep in myself. I told him I'd talk to him later but he called back 5 minutes later because it was really bugging him. I told him what happened & he had no recollection whatsoever. He was really apologetic but what he said **** me off so when we said our goodbyes on the phone, I was still ****. 4951

@Heathur:  Dreams can be very strange and you may say something you normally wouldn't.  Has he said the same thing when fully awake?  If not, let it go. 4951

@Retired_Engineer:
NEVER in a million years would he say it while he's awake. He said he had a Breaking Bad dream last night, but he sat up & looked at me when he said it. But he's a weird sleeper, always has been. He sits up & opens his eyes at least a couple times a week in his sleep. Whether he was asleep or not though, he still said it & it still made me mad. 4951

@Heathur:  It sounds like he really has no clue what it was.....just remind him occasionally!  lol!!!  (just kidding)...that is a tough one, b/c I have my own personal opinions about dreams and people talking in their sleep...SO, only you can decide how long you will stay angry...and if it is really worth staying mad at him over?  I mean, maybe you two were fighting in his dream which is why he woke up in the guest room?!?!?!  So, during "fights", people can say things they don't mean, nor would they ever normally say.  Emoticon 4951

I wouldn't necessarily be mad but I would play around with it for a few days or so.  This has happened to me before with my DH.  He is always talking in his sleep, it can be quite funny. 4951
