I usually just lay in bed and hope I fall asleep. After an hour, I end up playing games on my phone, usually word games. Sometimes a hot shower before bed helps me. Insomnia sucks. 4951

For me, exercise is the best remedy I have found for insomnia. When I exercise regularly, I have no problem falling or staying asleep. If I don't, my sleep suffers. 4951
I fell asleep about 7:45 last night & woke @ 10:30 & I'm still awake... at my desk and It's the last place I want to be right now. It's going to be a very early NYEve. 4951
i rotate tylenol PM & lunesta (because lunesta is about $ 12 per pill)......once i am able to quit worrying about my teen coming home after midnight i might actually get more than 5 hours of sleep someday...... 4951
Relaxation yoga. I try to hold my poses for about 5 minutes each. The good stretch combined with the measured breathing really helps me relax and I am a noodle afterwards. I usually make sure that I take care of anything that is stressing me out before going to bed. I pick up the house, prep for the next day, make a list of things I need to do, pray about, etc. 4951
