Just found out that one of my neighbor's house just got burglarized today around 11am. Thank God the older couple had just left and no one was hurt! Can't believe this happened in my neighborhood the day after Christmas! 4951
South Woodland Hills. Half of their house is on Woodland Grove Dr. They apparently came in from that side and broke in with the alarm going, they still stole some stuff before they left. 4951
I know huh? My Mom just got here for the first time from Florida and we were just talking about what a nice area Kingwood was and that I felt safe with my kids here and then we get home and find this out. I am just so glad that the couple was not home at the time. They are the sweetest people. 4951
Sucks. Hope they get caught. Alarms are great but without video it's pretty much useless in a short time span. That's why I have a couple a couple big dogs that are relentless if anybody unknown tries to break in. They better bring a firearm because they will not get out without being mauled.   4951
This sux. Crime on the rise out here. Everyone needs to be on the watch and get cameras!! Start watching your neighbors and shoot who doesn't belong. I despise thieves 4951
Beagles and skeletons LOL@angiekaye: I've got to find my pistol. We put it in a safe place with the move and now I have to figure out where we put it. 4951
The cashier at the Kroger on Npk and WLH told us they had been broken into on Christmas Day--the crooks took cigarettes and tried to get into the Phcy , too. He said that other stores were hiy as well (don't know if it was Krogers or other stores). That's getting close to home! 4951

This is what happens when you build all these new businesses in your backyard (or front yard in Kingwood)! People now have a reason to come up to Kingwood other than visiting family.  This will only get worse as more and more people are drawn to the community to utilize the new retail centers!  Kingwood was always nice because it was relatively isolated from the rest of Houston.  Those days are long gone! 4951
